Appsumo limiting refunds

One of the reasons I buy on AppSumo is that I can test a product for 60 days, and if I want a refund, the process is easy. That is the "promise," but it is not the reality. I have bought hundreds of deals on AppSumo, and I also have an AppSumo Plus account. The staggering amount was never refunded, but for some products, I noticed they weren't a fit, and it's up to me to decide whether to request a refund or not. With quite rare exceptions, most products will say "refundable for 60 days," not "refund for 60 days if you are not within your quota," or "refundable for 60 days with limits." I requested a refund for a product, and the only way I can do that is by email. The refund button is gone from the backend. I asked support why; here is what they said: "As a reminder, our system tracks refund activity to keep things fair across the marketplace. Because your refund activity remains above the typical customer range, refund requests continue to require manual review by our team. We also want to reiterate that if refund activity continues to trend upward over time, refund access may be limited further.
