LG CNS builds dedicated ERP AX unit and deepens partnership with SAP LG CNS announced that it held a joint “Business AI for ERP Summit” with SAP in Seoul to present a next-generation ERP AX (AI transformation) strategy based on SAP Business AI. The event attracted over 200 corporate participants from the manufacturing, logistics, retail, and telecommunications industries. SAP Business AI integrates artificial intelligence into core business platforms, such as ERP systems, to manage finance, procurement, production, and supply chains. LG CNS has worked closely with SAP to build capabilities in SAP Business AI and position itself early in the AI-ERP market. The company has trained AI ERP specialists with SAP’s Asia-Pacific organization since last year and established a dedicated “ERP AX Business Division” earlier this year. LG CNS now offers end-to-end ERP services, including consulting, implementation, operation, and upgrades. It promotes an “AX on ERP” strategy that uses agentic AI to automate tasks and accelerate business process innovation. At the summit, Paul Wang, head of AI for SAP Asia-Pacific, highlighted the “AI value gap,” in which many companies struggle to generate tangible returns from AI investments. He introduced SAP Business AI as a way to embed AI across enterprise workflows. LG CNS executives shared deployment strategies tailored to Korean corporate environments and presented use cases that customers can apply directly in the field. LG CNS and SAP also introduced AI ERP projects underway with LG Innotek and CJ CheilJedang, along with trends in physical AI such as humanoid robots and SAP Embodied AI linked to LG CNS’s robotics platform. LG CNS said it will continue strengthening its strategic alliance with SAP, including participation in SAP Sapphire and its role as a Regional Strategic Services Partner in the Asia-Pacific region.
