A Claude-powered trading bot has managed to turn $1 into $3.3 million on the crypto-based prediction market Polymarket since August 2025. Used by an account named sovereign2013, the bot relied on a strategy that revolved around arbitrage sports bets at a rapid pace. Its biggest bet by amount won was on a college basketball game, Utah State Aggies vs. Arizona Wildcats, which resulted in a win of over $1.73 million ($179,100 in pure profit). Percentage-wise, some notable bets include a college football one on Florida International vs. Western Kentucky, which generated nearly 400% in profit, and an NBA one on Denver Nuggets vs. Portland Trail Blazers, which led to returns of more than 200%.
